This talk was inspired by a walk I did along the entire length of the Thames Path National Trail, from the Thames Barrier to the source, plus a more recent downstream extension almost as far as the Dartford Crossing. We see not just the river, but some of the places immediately beside it.
Although of obvious interest to ramblers, many of the places seen are accessible by car or public transport, so the talk has been enjoyed by a range of different groups.
NOTE The full talk needs a minimum of an hour and a half, preferably with an interval in the middle! Hence I normally do this talk in two halves of about an hour each (given on separate occasions), covering the Dartford Crossing to Henley and Henley to the source respectively.
